I think it was shared responsibility. All Dial had to do was at least slow down a TE in the open field on a 4th and 11 and we win. They threw the ball behind the LOS to a freaking TE to convert a 4th and 11. Dial was in position and whiffed badly.
Oh, me too brother. But the 4th and 11 TE pass got me much worse. Pearsall was one of the top WRs in the league. An elite player made an elite play. The TE pass was an absolute disaster.

Kinda funny how some of our fans contract amnesia so quickly. We're not a good team, and our staff is most definitely subpar. But, come July the usual suspects will once again confidently proclaim 8-9 wins is the minimum in 2024.
AC, I won't be in that group. But, my thought is that in Year 4 of your program, you better finish no worse than .500 in your conference. If you can't, I would ask: what the hell has Shane been doing? With 3 "gimmes" plus Vanderbilt, finishing with a .500 conference record would result in a 7-5 record. I don't think that is an unreasonable expectation. BUT, there are some good people who do. We will just have to agree to disagree. I firmly believe that you have to put pressure on people to produce or they then become complacent and the results are mediocrity.
