is it the feeling of impending doom? I suppose there is a good chance they go 0-3 into the playoffs. Still, with the talent they have, you think just one win would get the pistons started again. What happened yesterday? I didn't get a chance to watch, but to lose to the Bucs...Holy Understatement here, but that's not what champions do. Is there a feeling of panic setting in?

I'm a Saints fan also and I do think we will lose next week... but with the 1st round bye I am thinking or atlealst hoping we will get our swagger back in time. I do know one thing, we need to be looking to find another strength and conditioning coach for next year.

They've got the bye either way, but they've been exposed as what they always knew they were, an above average NFL team that can get beat anytime. That's how the NFL is. Still, they've got Drew Brees and a good o line. They've got good recievers. They still need to take the running game up anothe notch. Maybe they can. Also, the defensei's inabilty to stop TB in the overtime does not bode well. The missed field goal is the kind of fluke that we've come to expect from FOLKs in the kiicking profession.

I do see the one and done possibility, but if they toughen up, they can still make a run. The bottom line is that they're only a little better than most other NFL teams, not on the other planet like most of their new fans have unfortunately traveled to over the past several lucky and good weeks

Last week for example they leaned on David Thomas and were successful with it, but you can't finish a drive with ball control in the NFL. Colston and Henderson and Bush have got to make big plays down the field. This seven to ten yard **** worked about every time but did not end with scores. I think letting David Thomas blcok more and catch fewer passes, and make sure running backs get at least 9 carries in the first quarter and 25-30 for the game, will help open up the Saints offernse for the big plays that it needs to win in the always amazing league in which they play.

I hate it for Moore because I really want him to continue to make a strong case for being the starter next season, but it's good news for the Saints.

all the media is telling saints fans and the team to fold up the tent. nice run guys but it is over. haha

Who knows if this team can handle success? I have never seen them handle it in the last 20 years
They need to be in the role that they have no chance, they do have home-field for the second round and hopefully they get to work on
their horrid oline this weekend in Carolina... no chance to win and at home... i will take it...

If the vikings lose tonight they will clinch home-field through out. So, no I am not worried.

Now if the team i think is going to be sitting there in the second round I am a little worried.
I see Dallas lurking as that 6th seed and that worries me cause I know they can rush the passer, but we will have to see who wins in the wild card

I think it is good to feel like you have a must-win game on the road coming up this sunday, makes you get your mind off of the 13-2 record.

It's obvious that the Saints management and coaching staff started prepping for the playoffs versus Dallas by resting so many key injured starters and the timing of the decision for Greer's sports hernia surgery. They folded the tent too early, and it showed again yesterday by holding Thomas and his ribs out in the second half after 60 yards rushing in the first. I don't care what the Vikes do tonight, it would be wise to smash Carolina in the mouth and get a W to start the momentum again.

we will win next week, then have a week off to rest up and make a run to the Super Bowl.

...It's very Mississippi State-like to win your first 13 games only to lose the next two on your own field.

It's like being rewarded a top 8 national seed in college baseball, only to go 0-2 in your regional before you get a chance to host your super regional.

Having said that, I now see no upside to the Saints getting homefield advantage in the playoffs.

They need to go into hostile environments where they are forced to grind it out.

doesn't seem to make a lot of sense in a game that doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.
