Is he interested in a collegiate defensive coordinator position?
Why? Jacksonville wasn’t supposed to be very good this year. Vegas O/U was 5.5 wins for them which they are more or less tracking towards hitting on one side or the other. They’ve also been dealing with injuries.
Saints actually started out red hot, then completely fell apart. Allen just doesn’t seem to have a grasp of how to fix anything for them.
Getting coaches with NFL experience always works for Mississippi State. **

Lost to eagles, at atlanta, at kansas city.. all tough ones.. then lose their QB for 2.5 games.
guess losing yesterday to a starting quarterback named Bryce Young (someone on here didnt think he was the starter) was the straw that broke the camels back.

Because they’ve lost 5 games by one score and if you watch them, it’s clear it’s coaching.
It was a stupid hire to begin with. I get that they liked him as DC but the guy had an 8-28 record as a head coach when you hired him. So you can’t be surprised when he sucked again. This guy has only won like 32% of his career games as head coach.

What are the specific coaching gaffes in those 5 games? Not doubting you. But I don’t get many Jacksonville games….nor does really anyone who doesn’t live in North Florida. Watched bits and pieces of their back-to-back London games, but didn’t see anything too crazy in those.
They look unprepared most games but one glaring problem is how bad they are in short yardage. It’s like he’s trying to prove the Philly special wasn’t a fluke by doing the most unconventional things. They have 2 good running backs. Plus Lawerence hasn’t seemed to progress at all and DP is an offensive coach.
I know an "offensive genius" who'll bring NOLA some Showtime. Highly recommend
