K-State just scored, 7-7 at 0:15 of 1st. Rooting hard for K-State, my wife has many cousins who graduated Manhattan, good people, good friends.
Easy review, a clean shoulder-to-shoulder hit, although the receiver was in a very vulnerable position. It was “wow, the receiver almost got killed so it must be targeting.”Here come the stripes with their clown show again. Missed false start on the K-State 4th down and now this very questionable targeting call.
Edit: Thankfully, that can be reviewed.
If tcu loses and it’s two sec and two big ten, do they separate or set up a big ten sec final?Easy review, a clean shoulder-to-shoulder hit, although the receiver was in a very vulnerable position. It was “wow, the receiver almost got killed so it must be targeting.”
They’ll find a way to separate; more eyes on the games that way.If tcu loses and it’s two sec and two big ten, do they separate or set up a big ten sec final?
Yeah, if it gives us a pep in our step when we get out of bed, why not let this be our take? Over the years we’ve had countless teams that overachieved, or at least played totally up to their potential. Character-wise, this Penn State team has what it takes. In all seriousness. We may actually be the 5th best team in the country.
Just win our bowl game and we will be in 5 to 7 range in final ranking.
Almost as much fun as watching the hired mercenaries getting their asses kicked in last night.I walked the dog at 14-7 and now it’s halftime. It’s a fun game to watch. It’s the first time all year I’ve seen TCU play for an extended spell and I hadn’t seen K-State play at all. All I know is what I see, young men fighting for their teams. In the end, that’s what the attraction is, I guess.
Utah delivered for the forces of good and righteousness.Almost as much fun as watching the hired mercenaries getting their asses kicked in last night.
If they do that, they will destroy any shred of credibility they may have left. They would either have to drop GA after a win or move two loss Bama ahead of OSU….either move shows they’re just playing with the numbers to get the result they want and that wouldn’t be good for the system. If tcu loses and it’s two sec and two big ten, do they separate or set up a big ten sec final?
I lost track of the halftime clock and only just now got back to the game. TD K-State, 21-10. The K-State QB Howard reminds me of Drew Bledsoe. That should have been a fumble. I don't know how the rules analyst (albeit that clown Lemonhead from Big Ten days) and the on-field officials have different views.
But that is exactly what they want, play with numbers to get the best television matchup. If they do that, they will destroy any shred of credibility they may have left. They would either have to drop GA after a win or move two loss Bama ahead of OSU….either move shows they’re just playing with the numbers to get the result they want and that would t be good for the system.
Or do they keep them together to ensure a NCG that is not a match-up from the same conference? If tcu loses and it’s two sec and two big ten, do they separate or set up a big ten sec final?
I just remembered that John Urschel is on the CFP selection panel. If they do that, they will destroy any shred of credibility they may have left. They would either have to drop GA after a win or move two loss Bama ahead of OSU….either move shows they’re just playing with the numbers to get the result they want and that wouldn’t be good for the system.
Welp, let all the debates and chaos begin. K-State's gonna get this one.
Geez, don't even get thru one play before the jinx kicks in.Welp, let all the debates and chaos begin. K-State's gonna get this one.
You, me, and 10,000 others. I managed to edit before hitting send.Geez, don't even get thru one play before the jinx kicks in.
If TCU loses both today’s game and their bowl game, PSU will likely pass them if we beat (probably) Utah.I usually root for the underdogs but if they win it could be bad for PSU. PSU isn't going to pass TCU no matter what but if #10 Kansas wins they could pass us if we lose our bowl game. I don't think we'll pass USC but now Utah could pass us with a with a bowl win.
You could make a lot of money betting against yourself.I’m not going to search for this post, but I am on record as saying that “no way either TCU or USC lose.” It’s amazing to me how bad a prognosticator I am.
It was tough to watch the TCU QB on the sidelines after that interception. Wow, he was dying inside.Another unanswered TD or two from KSU, and Georgia may be playing Alabama in semi final. And better, OSU vs. Michigan.
