(9) Florida Atlantic (34-3)-(3) Kansas State (26-9), tip 6:09.

(4) Connecticut (28-8)-(3) Gonzaga (31-5), tip scheduled for 8:49.

This seems to be a good place for Gonzaga to go down, as my feeble mind sees a bad matchup for the Zags here. Connecticut is a really big, physical team.

FAU is a great story and 34-3 is 34-3. I’ll be rooting for K-State and Gonzaga, family and Jesuits.

Family at K-State? I learned recently that one of my mom’s cousing started his career teaching at K-State.

Wife’s grandmother was from Allen County, KS. Cousins went to KSU.

FAU 62-63 KSU at 7:00. The largest lead for each team has been 7.

I just got back from dinner out.

64-63, FAU over KSU, with 5:36 left. These 2 teams are having quite a battle.

Florida Atlantic! The school didn’t even exist two weeks ago. Now they’re in the Final Four.

Can anyone explain why the big FAU Russian wasn’t called for a foul on the one play in second half where he barreled his shoulder in to the K-State defender knocking him to the ground.

My brackets are totally busted so at this point I have nobody to cheer for. I'm still trying to understand which school is FAU and which is FIU. I know they're both someplace near Miami. Not a UConn fan so I'm in for Gonzaga in the late game.

I no longer understand 1/2 of the calls in BB. Still enjoy watching though.

There is this ncaa commercial running with a montage while blathering about being there for student-athletes. Amongst all that horse-a$$, the only college I recognize is Penn State. You clearly see ”PENN STATE” on a wrestler’s singlet.

Who is running the ncaa these days? How did they let that get through?

UConn not missing much, and the Zags missing almost everything. I don't know why I'm still watching the game -- not competitive at all.

I thought this was going to be more competitive but UConn looked like the favorite.

UConn likely going to play Texas in final four. This is the case for reseeding the final 4 teams. One side would be SDSU v FAU and the other Texas v UConn. that is part of bracketology but one side looks a lot softer now.

FAU is 35-3. With that record, they are confident. Plus they are from Boca Raton so they are loving life.

Zags turns the ball over and they play very average D - bit them in the butt tonight. Routed!

Creighton is just plain dangerous with 5 scorers.

Texas probably has the most athletic team left.

All things considered, a pretty good tourney with better outside mid range shooting than the last 5 tourneys.

I actually think it should’ve been a defensive foul as that guy was inside the semi circle.
