Scary injury in LAC / KC…

Donald Parham, Jr. took hard contact to the head trying to make a catch. Clearly went unconscious in the seconds after the hit. Looked like he was having a seizure as he was getting carted off too.

Taken to a local hospital.

Hope he’s okay.

I saw that and it was disturbing to say the least. Any medical folks on here that can explain why his arms might be shaking like that? It was awful to see.

Yeah it was, especially him being carted off the field shaking the way he was. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen it.

The injury itself looked fairly non-eventful until he didn’t get up. In real speed it just looked like a normal play. Shows how close all these guys are to a major injury at any play.

Didn't see it but head injuries can cause both seizure or myoclonic jerking, both are related to the head injury. Sounds pretty severe.

Then Joe Buck says he would never speculate on an injury but maybe he was shaking b/c it was cold. **** you not

I could not believe he said that. I had to back it up to make sure that’s what he said.
