I would permanently protect Fighting Irish's ability to post whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted, in exchange for Father Burke Masters' grand salami-worn jersey.

I'm not a huge collector of jerseys but I did buy a Yankees Don Mattingly replica when I went to a game at old Yankee Stadium.

I'd been following him for years ever since my aunt told me about this kid from the high school where she was teaching who got drafted by them.

That FSU jersey is absolutely beautiful. They should wear those once a year as throwbacks.

Deleted the signed Clark picture, that maroon looked crimson.

I'll find another.

I had one of these beauties in the mid-90s. A decade later my then wife tossed it (accidentally) during a bout of spring cleaning. You can buy replicas now but I'd pay good money for an original like the one I had.

The bruised banana is a classic.

I've said this before but when I was in London in the Summer of '94 with Southern Miss's British Studies Program, we were staying really close to Stamford Bridge. I went to their shop one day and saw this:

That is pretty terrible. I was a big Ruud Gullit fan when I was younger... killed me when he went to Chelsea, even if it was the tail of his career.

Which reminds me. I also have this jersey in a box somewhere:

Maybe my all-time favorite jersey from any team. I loved the uniform they had in the mid-90s with that orange jersey, white shorts and orange socks.

As an OG Ruud fan, I handed this gem down to my daughter. I've had it for probably 30 years. Found it in an old box that my mom dropped off.

Either the jersey Kirk Gibson was wearing when he hit that homerun in Game 1 of the 1988 World Series or any Orel Hershiser jersey from that series.

That was when I fell in love with baseball as a kid.

Gave you an upvote. I'm not the biggest soccer fan; I follow every four years: World Cup.

But, the history behind the Netherlands Orange is interesting & pretty cool.

If you're willing to go that far for the Masters jersey, what would you do to get your hands on up this one?

Slightly off-topic, but I actually remember where I was when I was watching that moment in baseball: Cheers in Starkville (formerly Baba O'Riley's)

I was at Game 3 in Oakland. Was about 7 rows up from the field, down the 1st-base line next to where the Dodgers relief pitchers warmed up. Was watching Dodger Jay Howell warm up. His warmup didn't look good, and I was letting him hear it.

New rule. Post a soccer photo and immediate ban. Immediate ban

I had tickets to Game 5 of the 1990 ALCS & Game 5 of the World Series in Oakland.

The As sweep the Red Sox and got swept by the Reds that year.

This sounds like my luck
