In all seriousness...thank you Coach Lemonis for reaching the mountaintop and bringing home the title. He absolutely managed the 2021 season, particularly the postseason, and especially the CWS as perfectly as he could have and it worked better than we've ever seen. I'll be forever thankful for him pulling the strings in 2021 to the 'ship. But these last 4 years just show that we need new blood. We're too proud a fanbase to suck this much for this long, and I'm 100% sure he knows that already.

If he has any idea which way the wind blows, he should know that there are only two things that can save him with the fanbase at this point

1. A miraculous turnaround in football

2. A spectacular head baseball coach hire

One of those things is extraordinarily unlikely. I wouldn’t be surprised if we overpay for our baseball coach to make #2 happen

We absolutely had to make a change, however for anyone with a heart, terminating an employee or being around such a situation is hard, especially if there is a spouse and kids involved. I am very thankful for the 2021 Natty. It was a dream come true for me. Time for us to move on in a classy way and let the man move on with his life in peace.
