He’s learning, he makes some smart moves/decisions and some terrible one! I think he can be very good, but needs to cleanup the careless ball control and work on his checkdown!

He'll win some games before it's over with if he continues to develop. He's definitely taking too much criticism. He's a freshman with a big learning curve. I'm 100% behind him.

I think the turn overs by him are 70% holding onto the ball too long.....with this OL it needs to be a 3 step drop and pass. Immediately. No exceptions. 30% vision problem of some sort - would explain a lot of his errant throws high. Mile high. He's a good kid and we're all behind him, no doubt about that. Can't turn it over. Can't.

I’m sure he’s been told not to take any unnecessary hits a zillion times, but all he has to do is fall forward and not slide on that first drive for the first down and to maintain momentum, but we give it back and go down 14! Then he makes a move on the corner later in the game and turns it up field for a very nice gain, not many qb’s can get to the corner like that and turn it up!

The frustration comes in that we’re wasting an INCREDIBLE defensive effort while we wait for him to develop and mature. Next year’s defense will likely be a shell of what this one is.
