I was out and about during the JSU game, so I missed the broadcast. Was just looking at the end of the game online and heard where the announcer referred to him as "Shawn Beamer".

Not sure you make it to the tail end of a 3+ hour football game with the coach's wrong name.

Not just a slip of the tongue either.

If you go back a few sections he starts saying the same thing "If you're Shawn Beamer..." before the officials start talking and he stops mid-sentence.

I'm not even sure ESPN cares about the quality of their broadcasts anymore. Talk about doing zero homework... and this guy isn't even one of their rookies.

I actually thought it was funny that the announcer didn't know our coach's name
