I`ve seen this proposed/talked about in several threads. Personally I don`t think Cohen should throw Polk a bone of any kind and that`s a shame for Tommy. Also Polk has dicredited himself so badly with his handling of this I don`t know how effective he can be in helping Tommy get a gig somewhere else. Thoughts ?

as I like Tommy as a person, I say no. I think that after what has happened, there needs to be a clean break.

My guess is the new director of baseball operations job will be Tommy's if he wants it, but he won't be offered an assistant coaching job.

I think Polks tirade to the media basically sealed the fate of all the assistant coaches.......not so much that Cohen wouldnt want them....but he drew a line in the sand with Bryne and I dont see anyone from the staff being retained by the administration..........

I can't imagine Raffo staying at MSU in any capacity. Not because of his doing, but Polk's. I'm guessing that Polk, by showing his ***, has hurt Raffo the most in all of this.
