He broke his hand. The error is about when he broke his hand.

Hint #2: it's an error of unclear jargon.

Don’t forget the Zain and Nolf Dream School corollaries. They were all but in the bag for Iowa until Cael and his cheatin’ ways came into the picture
I like to joke that I play golf for God's entertainment. I can hit a 300 yard drive up the right side of the fairway just to find it sitting under a tree just off the left side of a fairway. On the 320 yard 17th hole in a tied match play event I have hit a cut drive that landed left center in front of the green that has a radar on it pointed right at the back right pin only to have the ball bounce left and then army crawl into the left bunker. In the same exact manner, HR and their utter stupidity exists simply to entertain Lion fans.

Well, yeah, but those were Iowa fans hallucinating.

Woods pandering to Iowa fans was above and beyond. Iowa was such a dream school that he only considered Stanford. (He attended Michigan/Iowa feeder Montini Catholic and did not consider either.)

I don't blame anyone for focusing on or choosing Stanford. Just be honest about it. I'd say don't treat your fans like cretins, but they ate it up.

The Real Woods Iowa Dream School joke will never be not funny.
Let me guess you don't know Real and were never around him at a young age. His coach and mentor Izzy also went to Iowa out of HS. Real wanted to wrestle at iowa since he was young but a Stanford degree was something he couldn't pass up. You spew BS often like the $250 for FIU for a 1/2 lol. Never change Jefe

I see your new handle didn't come with a sense of humor.

BTW, when does Mesenbrink transfer to Missouri?

But you're right about one thing: I was never around youth wrestlers from Albuquerque.

According to this story it was always Stanford and Stanford alone.

"Stanford was Woods’ dream school. In high school, he printed and taped the red “S” logo onto his door to remind himself of what he was working toward."

More quotes like this in the story. His goal was always Stanford. Izzy himself said Iowa and others didnt even register. You're wrong on this one Corby.

I knew you should have turned left at Taos.

Since this thread is about Sidun I will say that his mom and dad are both tiny and he's already bigger. Him being a career 125 wouldn't shock me

Was his dream for EDUCATION not wrestling not wrong at all. Ask Real and his family. I was in a suite at NCAAs with his family a few years ago. I'm not making it up Reals dream wrestling school growing up was Iowa. Also will be my last post for awhile I don't want to post to much.

I recommend reading the story. No need to respond. I dont want to get a MSU-like back and forth going nowhere.

Has Sidun ever wrestled DeLuca? I know there’s an age difference. Just curious.

I can't find any record of them facing in folk or free. They were on opposite sides of the same weight at 2023 Beast of the East, in Sidun's freshman fall semester, but Sidun lost 3-2 to returning PA state finalist Mason Ziegler.

BTW, crazy bracket: 1 DeLuca, 2 Seidel, 3 Sidun, 4 Dillard, 5 Mason Jakob (3x TN champ, WVU 2026 commit), 6 Michael Batista (Blair national preps finalist, Maryland 2027), 7 Ziegler, 8 Logan Brzozowski (NJ state finalist, now at Harvard). DNP: Lucas Littleton-Mascaro (Malvern national preps champ, UNC 2026), Dale Corbin (Wyoming Seminary national preps finalist, 2027 recruit) among others.

Also, crazy: the seeding. I have no idea how Brzozowski got the 1 seed, and how he got seeded ahead of Seidel (2), DeLuca (4), Littleton-Mascaro (5), Dillard (6), and Ziegler (10) -- at least. And go figure, he lost in the quarters to the 9 seed (Batista). It ended up with the right finalists, and the right top 4, but what a weird way to get there.

Sidun had a nice run thru consis to win 3rd: beat Littleton-Mascaro, Brzozowski, Jakob, and Dillard in a row. As a freshman.

Thanks for the info. Wow. When Ziegler is a 10 seed, that’s a LOADED bracket.

2023 Beast of the East seeding:

Repeating myself here: I have no idea how Brzozowski got the 1 seed. He was a SR and a returning NJ state finalist, but he did not qualify for states before his JR year. He did not compete at 2023 Fargo. He did compete at 2022 Fargo, and did not reach the blood round. He did not compete at Super 32 in 2022 or 2023. He's not a bad wrestler by any means, but he shouldn't have been seeded ahead of any of those guys I listed above. Getting the 1 was atrocious, and makes a mockery of the rest of the bracket's seeds.
