Since I'm catching some flack about it, lets have a roll call....are you inbred & live in a trailer park?

Nope. I was looking to discuss a topic on a GAMECOCK message board that pertains to rights/rituals performed at all of our sporting contests. Perfectly legitimate discussion & I'm appreciative of all points of view. You, however, have made it personal with the name calling & insulting.
Damn right I made it personal...you knew what your were doing with that question.. You may think its legit. That's just the angle use used to insult a majority of Gamecock fans. Should the Gamecock Club only allow Alumni to join? I can guarantee with almost 100% certainty that if that we're the case, the University would be begging for more than it already does.

I have not paid Gamecock Club dues since the Holtz era. I don't belong to the Alumni Association. Oh crap, by me admitting this, I guess I don't have a right to raise a toast since I'm probably a bad Gamecock (Alumni) follower. I pull for Carolina, UT, ETSU, Wofford, Furman, The Citadel, Clemson, Coastal, Milligan, Tusculum, Carson Newman, Maryville College, Belmont, Memphis, all the teams in SC & TN...I will sing their alma maters at games, cheer like crazy, BECAUSE I am a fan of college athletics.

What you're spewing, would weigh me down...just being in a room with you and your ilk would suffocate me, would dim bright lights, and make a sunny day turn cloudy. I wish the mods would delete this thread and any others like it.

Yeah. You obviously have issues. Just put me on ignore since "my ilk" dims the light of our world. Here's a health.........

Respectfully, that isn't congruous with active participation in a school's alma mater. If a person didn't graduate from an institution, it isn't really their alma mater.
Well, as someone else stated, it's the biggest nothing to ever hit this board. A lot of fans (non- graduates ) may think they are suppose to pretend they are holding a glass up, too. It's really a big nothing burger.

I'm one of the non-pretenders. However, an opinion was solicited and I gave it.

While we are at it, dont let them in to the games, buy merch, watch on TV, patronize Gamecock establishments or post on this board.

I believe Freddy gave his to.
I saw it. I also saw 132 other posts between this thread and the other one with people giving opinions and retorts. It's leaving a pretty good footprint for "nothing". I agree it's not much, but apparently it's not nothing, either.

While we're still busy creating "nothing", taking the position that raising the hand during the alma mater is for students and alumni is not saying others shouldn't attend games, cheer for the team, buy merchandise, or whatever. That's up to them. I'm one of "them" and I'm not offended. But of course, you know that.

Damage Done!!! This nothing burger has left folks angry, and for what?

Anyone who wants to raise a toast to my alma mater is MORE THAN WELCOME...

Sometimes, I think it's easier being a Vols fan (alumni)...the egos of some University of South Carolina alumni is bombastic...

I'm done with this thread and any other like it...

Is it time to fold the "drama with dating little people" issue into this thread?

Sir, you are right, it has offended me and for what reason? Again, if I were a USC graduate I would be tickled that others may want to raise a toast to my school because their or many that would not raise a toast to USC at gun point.

BTW, this is my last post about this subject, too.

Well, to me it could be for fans, too.
And every foul shooter who ever blessed himself before taking a free throw was Catholic? It is meant for members of the Gamecock Nation, whether Alumni, undergrads, or staff, but really who cares? Just like a salute, I wish people would do it right.

If your talking about someone who,,
Keeps a can of Raid on the dinette table,
Has complete set of salad bowls w/ Cool Whip on the lid,
Believes Jack Daniels was a former president,
Believes a nutcracker is done from a neighbor's high dive,
Entertains himself for hours with a fly swater,
Takes the dog on a stroll & both of us use same tree to pee
Has had furniture donation denied by Salvation Army,
Who uses a rag for a gas cap,
Who's been known to use toilet brush as a back scratcher,
Who keeps a box of matches in bathroom instead of can of air freshener,
Who can't get married to his sweetheart because there's a law against it,
Has married 3 times & had the same in-laws,
Who's Halloween pumpkin had more teeth than owner does,
Who has learned how use the ironing board as the dinner table,

If the above fit you're definition, yes, absolutely, I R Both!

No, but I used to like to go the trailer and run my awesome remote control car, until it got run over

Now I like to go to trailer parks to drink and drown my sorrows
