A close friend of mine has a nephew that recently left his high school to play baseball at another high school across town. He is really good ball player but I have no idea how good he is as I haven't seen him play but I've heard lots of great things about the kid. He is a junior and was considering is being recruited by USCar. My friend tells me about this this past weekend and he also tells me his nephew is now interested in State due to his new head coach being discussed as a hitting coach for State. My understanding is he was approached by State. This seems really odd to me as to why we would hire a high school coach from SC to be our hitting coach but that's what I heard. Coach is Banks Faulkner @ Blythewood HS in Blythewood SC.

Sounds crazy but that's what I heard.

Its incredibly odd since he was the schools pitching coach before getting the head job. Sounds like someone is confused.
