This is not well known, perhaps not even by Tom, but ILLINOISLION was reluctant, for various reasons, to move here permanently. I had determined to make the jump, as did Diane Lane, who lurked, but did not post, on the old board. I asked Diane, whom I know well, to try to convince ILLINOIS to come over, but he was not persuaded. Here she is, talking to ILLINOIS.

And if this prediction actually somehow relates to how quickly you're banned, or not banned, how those calculations applied to the prior board, where you've been banned over and over again ... yet you still live there.

It is a direct reflection of the times, say for the last 7+ years or so.
I learned so much from the old board during 9/11 and the Boston Marathon bombing. I don't think, no, I know neither of those threads would survive today's political polarization of EVERYTHING.
