I won't be going, but if I did go, the only reason would be to watch Margot Robbie

Saw it. Not quite what I expected, but it tells the strory. That Oppenheimer film looks interesting though.
Saw it. Very good movie. Some think it's the best movie, thus far, of the 21st century. Not sure about that. However, I will be surprised if Cillian Murphy, who played Oppenheimer, does not win the Oscar for "Best Actor".That Oppenheimer film looks interesting though.

Well look at you with your tawdry little thoughts, and on Sunday morning no less. You're on the internet right now. Just Google her and touch yourself.
Wish they'd have spent more time on Oppie's/Groves' relationship and all the headaches of Los Alamos. That was an exceptional portion of the bigger story that got overlooked.Saw it. Very good movie. I gave this one some deep thought. I saw some of the clips. Definitely not my thing. Probably about $250. I'm sure my wife and a group of women & maybe some kids would tag along. I could pay their way. My wife watches the talk show clips of Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. I think she has a closet fantasy about Ryan Gosling LOL. She goes into a trance when watching him. Personally, I loved Margot Robbie in The Wolf on Wallstreet. It's more my style.I`m not sure there is enough money to make me go.
I agree. That being said, it was a 3 hour long movie. I'm not sure my bladder could have held on without missing some scenes if it was longer. I would give it a look on one of the streaming services. It might have a decent plot that interests me.I gave this one some deep thought.
no pictures, so it didn't happen....Our beverage cart young lady dressed as Barbie yesterday and I will say she pulled it off extremely well.

Daughter ..yes...GF ..NO...,LIFE IS TOO SHORTI`m not sure there is enough money to make me go.
You do know it's proper etiquette to provided pics.I saw a movie a few years ago called "Ready or Not" that starred a woman who (to me) is the spitting image of Margot Robbie, Samara Weaving. She's also from Australia, and the movie wasn't bad either.
I'm curious, if you have not seen the movie, then why do you think the movie is degenerating their product. We have no interest in seeing it. I cannot understand why Mattel would promote a movie that denigrates their product.

Wow, this dude puts a whole lot of editorial comment for a movie about a doll."Far from being a feature-length commercial for Barbie, Gerwig’s movie puts in bright critical light the trouble with Barbie’s pure, blank perfection."

“Barbie” Is Brilliant, Beautiful, and Fun as Hell
Greta Gerwig’s giddily stylized vision of a doll coming to life makes a serious case for the art of adapting even the most sanitized I.P.www.newyorker.com

Based on the opening numbers doesn't appear that his version is resonating with the general public.
Let's just say, the resemblance was close enough that I thought it was Robbie for the first half of the movie. You do know it's proper etiquette to provided pics.![]()
I have to be up front, I'm not really that engaged to get into a friendly discussion on this topic. I know so far it's a big success, and will in all likely hood be the Big Summer Blockbuster. He gives it a glowing review which does resonate with the general public. I assume. I have not seen the box office numbers, but I assume it did well. He loves the fact that it "deconstructs" Barbie and from I've read, that seems to the be point of the movie.
It's not for kids.If my sweet little 4 year old granddaughter wanted to go and see it, I would go, otherwise, I would rather watch a snail cross the finish line.
It's not for kids.
So it's not about woke or feminism.....but motherhood. He liked it.
