So will the Sunday games be showed on something other than CSS?

If not, I'm gonna have my buttcheeks on a hard wooden barstool at Buffalo Wild Wings tomorrow night. But I'd much rather watch it on the big screen from my own couch

It's a great package, but of course, NO CSS!

Of course, I do get to watch Mullet Toss from Snotbag, Arkansas, and about every other sports event, but no MSU baseball!!!!

This is the very reason why I wouldn't have anything but a cable network. Even if I didn't work for Comcast, if it was an option in my area I would have it or whatever cable network I had in my area.

I can get the games over the internet or some other channel. I've always found a way. The absolute shittiness of Comcast (and Time-Warner) took an even bigger leap with their recent "upgrade". I have lots of friends who have been with them forever who are now coming over to DirecTV (and I'm getting $100 each for them so cha-ching!). Everyone really needs to start pushing the issue with congressmen and senators. Content producers should not also be content distributors. If anyone other than Comcast owned CSS they would be compelled through market forces to work a deal with UVerse, DirecTV and Dish but Comcast is using as a subscriber push, not trying to make a profit. It is monopoly behavior and shouldn't be allowed.

This.

It would have to be between tv or no tv at all for me to consider going back to them.

Their service is terrible. I've switched to U-Verse which I like, but of the three I've had I like Comcast the best. I wish it were available in my area.

As much as I would have liked to watch the regional games (including today's),its not worth switching to cable.

I've had Comcast in Mobile and CableOne in Gautier and they both suck in comparision to the quality of picture and the range of channels that they provide compared to DirecTV. I've had DirecTV for around 10 years (except the 2 times I tried cable) and I'll never switch to cable again.

the powers that be(SEC or ESPN) will get a clue and realize how horrible a choice it is to allow a fringe sports network like CSS to have this contract. To limit your exposure to a fraction of the market is just stupid, even if it is the lower-profile games. There are better options. Something like the old JP Sports, a regional sports network that could be picked up by local channels or cable/satellite providers would be much better.

yesterday, I could get every game they had on their playlist to work except for our Dawgs. It was due to itbeing blacked out I suppose, but I noticed that others on here watched the game online. How? I live in Columbus if that has any bearing on the situation. Most bars in Starkville should have it, right? Comcast is Starkville's provider??

Does anyone have some magic ways, or a website, to unblock the blackout so we can watch the game online?

This was discussed yesterday. The post, with relevant links, is here: http://goo.gl/QxB3T

Beware, as some users have reported trouble with the Hotspot Shield application. It is apparently a messy, almost malware-like install in some cases.

I installed it on an old XP machine, unchecked all the options for add-on toolbars and default behavior, etc., and then was able to watch the game last night with no problem. Piped the video out of the computer and into my television so we could watch it larger. Video didn't fill the screen, but I was able to manipulate the picture so the aspect was good. The online stream was running a minute or so behind the live CSS feed, from what I could tell.

but I have a Mac. I have had no install problems or operational problems. It's pretty easy to turn on and off.<img id="AFhss_trk" name="AFhss_trk" style="display:none"><div id="AFhss_dfs" class="AFhss_dpnone"><div id="AFhss_adrp0" class="AFhss_dpnone"></div><div id="AFhss_adrp1" class="AFhss_dpnone"></div><div id="AFhss_adrp2" class="AFhss_dpnone"></div><div id="AFhss_adrp3" class="AFhss_dpnone"></div><div id="AFhss_adrp4" class="AFhss_dpnone"></div><div id="AFhss_adrp5" class="AFhss_dpnone"></div><div id="AFhss_adrp6" class="AFhss_dpnone"></div><div id="AFhss_adrp7" class="AFhss_dpnone"></div><div id="AFhss_adrp8" class="AFhss_dpnone"></div><div id="AFhss_adrp9" class="AFhss_dpnone"></div></div>
