Chris Russo, Mike Francesca, Charlie Weiss.
I’m sure there are more I can’t think of. I stopped listening/watching ESPN talk shows a long time ago, so the names most are saying I have on permanent ignore anyway.

I love Wilbon. I find most of the other ESPN talking heads unlistenable though. Chris Berman would be tops of my list though. Insufferable buffoon.
I met Berman once outside of Fenway Park. He was drunk as a skunk.

Brent Musberger towards the end of his career was difficult to listen to. He had an obsession with Ohio State and seemed to have a man crush on the sweater vest.

I know Wilbon from way back, from when he was with the Post. Tipping point: his BS rationale for voting Nebraska in ‘94 has stuck in my craw ever since.

Maybe he’s changed (I wouldn’t know), but he would God up the players something fierce, Michael Jordan’s lapdog.

I didn’t know that, but now that’s in my craw. What bothered me even more was some of the beat writers from other Big Ten schools voting for Nebraska. They were always chapped by PSU coming into their conference and they stabbed us in the back.

I don’t have an issue with Irvin either. Granted, I’m not an Eagles fan, but I take him for what he is. He knows the game and is complimentary to a lot of the young NFL players. I find him entertaining.
He’s also a gentleman he picked up moms dropped scarf at ewr and called her ma’am returning it. Whether they grabbed a drink or not remains unclear

100%, but I guess Wilbon was the one in my backyard, the one who got my attention. I hated the guy back then. He’s totally off my register now, this thread notwithstanding.

Many years ago I shared a flight from Dallas with Pat Hayden and Gary Bender- they were on the way to State College to cover a game and there were only a few of us in first class.. Nice guys, talked football through dinner (remember dinner on planes?) and after a post dinner beer they went to work reviewing their notes on PSU- including QB Todd Blackledge.

Edit- or was it Kerry Collins? Memory fades.

I like Steven A ‘cause he seems to like picking on the Cowboys.

Don’t like Michael Strahan ‘cause everything for him always comes back to the Giants. Even when they suck.

Been across the pond on a moms “work” trips and it’s the WORST when she chilled in first while I toiled in the back
