It was funny that Shane went out yesterday and implored fans to come out and be loud and then Dowell went out and said "We are not going to do a lot. We are not going to show a lot. It is going to be vanilla ice cream. It is going to be boring."

I understand what means of course, but still kind of humorous when the head coach is calling for fans to come out and be excited and the the OC then goes and says "it's gonna be boring."

Given the scrutiny and pressure surrounding every OC we have had for the last decade, I can understand why Dowell doesn't want to overpromise about what we will see tomorrow night. This is a lose/lose proposition for him, and overpromising an outcome and the resulting fan disappointment that would follow would make for a long spring/summer.
