As America's most enlightened Lions fan and after spending the month of January in film study, I am prepared to share what I would like to see from our team this spring to assure we make the four team tournament.

1. 0.1 second improvement in Kaytron's 40-time
2. 0.1 second improvement in Nick Singleton's 40-time
3. a DL who will play next year gain +10lbs by weigh in and lead the team in some strength test, preferably squat but any test that indicates the physical violence required for the Michigan game
4. some credible comments, ideally from our co-defensive coordinator, that Coziah Izzard emerges as a bone crusher on the D-Line

At the end of the Blue-White game, we will need new leadership to emerge.
On D we are loaded with leaders, the King twins, Jacobs, Chop
But on O, the pickings look slim. Hopefully an O-lineman, Kaytron and maybe a TE but I have no idea.

Regarding our two true studs, Allarmerican and Carter, I have seen enough. If you want to see a kid who already can't wait to destroy WVU, watch Carter's interview. He is a mix of A'Shawn Robinson and Shane Conlan. Unleashing that kid is more of a challenge for Manny than it is for Abdul. And Allar, he has a 5-start attitude to go with that Marino release. Again, the kid's potential is more about whether Yurcich is an elite coach than Drew's want-to.

I'd love to know what you learned from the film study.

You are clearly dialed in. Tell me how many captains are returning from last season?

Don't underestimate Allar's leadership ability. He seems like a calm, cool, and collected dude with good communication skills.
