To be fair, CB South and CB West were the two best teams in the district this year. Both were upset in the District semifinals, so, Downingtown West has their work cut out for them against SJP. I hope beyond all hope that they win, but it is going to be tough.

This will be another mercy rule game. Every private school across the state has the same open boundary advantages. Prep just does it better than anyone. Don't kid yourself, they have the financial backing to remain a national program. The idea they draw from all over the east coast is ridiculous. Their backbone is Philly, the suburbs, and South Jersey.

Part of the problem is the pubs are no where near the powers they were 20-30 years ago. We'll never see a run like CB-West or the great North Penn team of 2003. I used to look forward to attending the east final, wouldn't waste my time going out to Coatesville tomorrow night. Actually, we'll be at the Keswick tomorrow night seeing The Machine doing their great Pink Floyd tribute.
