We only won 2 games this past season?!? I wasn’t aware.

If that’s true, we’d really better tread lightly on the things we post here. My Christmas wish this season is that I hope the posts on this board reacting to the dire situations you describe above do not lead to random people on the internet who I will never meet or have any direct/indirect impact on my life making fun of me or any other member of this board or this fanbase. Can you imagine our collective embarrassment if a screenshot from SPS made it onto Message Board Geniuses? Why, I don’t think I could bear it (bare it? neither of those look right).

And if I were to find out we were being lampooned by an Ole Miss fan over our 2-10 season and various recruiting errata? I’d have to jump head first into the shallow limestone creek that runs through my property. Lampooned? By Ole Miss fans? Online? Via Social Media? And/or message boards? And/or group chats? However will I go about my day?
Just the idea of our rival making fun of us scares me and feels like a bridge too far. Precedent setting.***

Please stop the dumb takes and stop the poor ole me routine. Anytime something minutely bad happens or could happen, a bunch of boneheads start falling down the insane rabbit hole where they have and insane pitty party. Please shut up. People are making fun of us because of the dumb crap you people post. Stop feeding Ole Miss fans content. Just honestly think some of y'all aren't the brightest bulb in the pack. Stop snowballing your negativity.
Man, thanks for sharing. I can see where one might think that a longtime fan like myself would be upset/worried over a 2-10 record, getting embarrassed by Toledo on our home field, or the fact that we're going to have to run a 2-4-5 next year since we can't find a DL throughout the entire U.S. and Canada that will take our money. However, all that pales in comparison to the way I feel about a post(which is entirely accurate, btw) showing up on Message Board Genuis. That, I just cannot let stand, and I will try to do better

This board has always provided Ole Miss with a lot of content. It's nothing new. I've always assumed at least 1/4 of the posters here are Ole Miss fans.

Plus, now we have AI to deliver beautiful thoughts like this:

Friends, Bulldogs, members of SixPackSpeak, I see you. I see the maroon and white, I hear the cowbells, and I know the passion that burns within each and every one of you. We gather today not after a triumphant season, but after one that, let’s be honest, was a disaster. A 2-10 record is not what we expect, not what we deserve. We’ve heard the whispers, the criticisms: our football program is a disaster, our recruiting is a disaster, our coaching is a disaster. Some might even say it’s enough to make you drown your sorrows in a gallon of Dale’s sauce and then go hunt mole crickets in the dark. It’s easy to feel discouraged. It’s easy to look back at eras like those with Jackie Sherrill and long for those days, or even to joke about burning couches (responsibly, of course). We’re a program built on grit, on fighting against the odds, and sometimes, those odds feel insurmountable. But we’re not just any fan base. We’re Mississippi State. We’re the Bulldogs. We’re the ones who ring our cowbells with pride, even when it feels like there’s nothing to cheer for on the field. We’re the ones who know that the spirit of Dudy Noble Field, the roar of the crowd, the camaraderie of fellow Dawg fans, is something special, something that can’t be replicated anywhere else.

This isn’t the time to give up. This is the time to double down. This is the time to remember what it means to be a Bulldog. We’re not defined by one season, good or bad. We’re defined by our unwavering loyalty, our relentless spirit, and our belief in the future. We're the fans who know the names of every recruit thanks to guys like Steve Robertson, who listen to every word from Brian Hadad, who remember the wisdom of Ron Polk and the legend of Cochise Cowbell. We’re the Dawgstudents, the Drebin enthusiasts, the heart and soul of Mississippi State athletics. This program has seen its share of challenges, but it has also seen incredible triumphs. We have a rich history, and we have the potential for a bright future. So, I ask you, members of SixPackSpeak, let’s not let one difficult season define us. Let’s use this as fuel. Let’s use this as motivation. Let’s continue to support our Bulldogs with the same passion and fervor that has always defined us. Let’s show the world what Mississippi State is truly made of. Let’s show them the power of the cowbell. Let’s show them that even when things look bleak, we never, ever give up. Hail State!
