Terrible transition defense, no rim protectors, same old stuff. Sessoms was a ball hog at Binghamton and still is.

Sessoms carried the team at Binghamton. He turns it over too much, but there are plenty of possessions where I’d rather see him take it himself. He’s far from a ball hog.

WTF is a "usage rate" statistic? I have been out of the game too long!

It’s a statistic to measure how “involved” a player is in an offense. As Ken describes it, “Percentage of possessions used (%Poss): A measure of personal possessions used while the player is on the court. Simply assigns credit or blame to a player when his actions end a possession, either by making a shot, missing a shot that isn’t rebounded by the offense, or committing a turnover.”

It’s basically the way to prove statistically if a guy is trying to do everything himself, or if he’s not overly involved in the offense.

Sam is 2nd on the team, behind Lundy, in this statistic.

Thanks man...Sessoms isn't a ball hog, he is a good player. Just like alot of our players, they are good players but just not good enough. MSU and OSU games...simple for me...they just have better players than we do.

poor transition D but MSU made 9 3's from 6 different guys and moved the ball very well on offense. They had 10 offensive rebounds (+4 OREb and +8 TREB) and 21 assists. NIce to get Lee back but need another guard to step up and make some shots.

Cornwall 7-31 (23%) He's a 42% career shooter from 3.
Pickett 15-50 (30%)
Lundy 21-62 (34%)
Dread 18-51 (35%)

Cornwall is a major disappointment. I don't see him doing much on the court so if he's not making 3s his minutes are actually hurting the team.

I believe the coaching and hopefully the recruiting has improved. The talent isn’t there yet. I think a 3 year window max to see marked improvement is reasonable. Im looking at 2023 as the year they make the tournament and may actually win a game or two. But,hey what the hell do I know? : )!!!
