I felt going into the season thinking we needed trick plays, going for it on some 4th downs, and some special teams magic, as I think Beamer did. I think the mentality for this game should be play straight up and go get the win. Ok, if needed later in the game, go for it, but in the first half just play it straight up and take it to them.

Sometimes you get away with bob & weave, other times you skate by playing rope a dope. Yet, somewhere, some place, time comes, you haveta go mono-e-mono, lump for lump, scratch, claw whatever it takes, to "WIN"!.

Yep, played straight up and whipped them. OU’s offense was weak so definitely the play for today. Still like the strategy going forward, but have to open up the offense. I think we can be much more dangerous on offense but the play calling is holding us back

It looks to me like no one is getting open, sellers still doesn’t have a ton of time to get set so it’s quick hits or nothing!
