How about several pedestrian bridges along GR Blvd to the fair grounds parking and also along bluff road. This would make things safer for pedestrians and help speed up traffic before and after games

I've always thought some kind of ramp up and over GR Blvd would be smart. But I'm guessing the only WB improvements Tanner will consider are those that put additional revenue in the athletic department's very deep pockets. For all the talk about "improving the gameday experience," it sounds like they really just want to create more opportunities for folks to spend money.

Put a rail divider on the ramps then have one side of the escalator going up one side and the other side of escalator going down..

Seriously, I think the north end of our stadium should resemble this.

I like that! If students get that middle plus the 2 sides, they’ll need some more, but that is doable.
I’ve long thought the North side needed to be closed in. Now you kill 2 Birds-closed in plus luxury boxes.

Never seen this! I like it. I’m sure there could be something similar done at WB. Obviously it would cost millions. Tanner has already stated that we are woefully short of luxury suites. Only Vandy has less in the SEC. This concept could probably add a decent number?

AGREED!!!! I've never understood why they've always allowed the corners on both ends above the ramps to remain open??????? Close those sections in, create more seating, more video screens and more noise retained inside the stadium on BOTH ENDS. LFG!!!!

The north end of Williams-Brice Stadium is a disgrace to everyone who has ever lived and worked in the state of South Carolina since it was founded - the state, not the stadium. To find anything worse, you would have to cite slavery and I-95 from the I-26 junction to the Georgia line. Those two things are not similar, but they are terrible, like the north end of our stadium is terrible.

It’s the student section, not exactly where Tanner has been placing his stadium improvements. He’s trying to increase revenue, for improving the in-stadium experience to high end boosters, etc. I’d love to see some thought put into this Texas concept shared here.

Whatever he does to the stadium, the students will be someplace. That section was not always the student section. In my day, the student section was the south endzone wrapping around to the southeast corner. They fixed that end of the stadium. Now it's time to fix the other end. It is an embarrassment.

Yes, I was at USC from 77-82, and we sat in the South EndZone. The “In The Zone” upper deck addition moved the student section to it’s current location. On a side note, I think the student section is as good as any in college football, they deserve better ‘accommodations’!

There is no room to expand the north end zone. I thought you were smarter than that.

I’m not sure they care. Keep the money and let ‘em rush the field is my guess.

Those Texas horns sorta makes this look. We don’t have that.
I was talking more about the four high boxes on either side of the Jumbotron, the the covered seats under the Jumbotron. We could tear down the old coaches office building that’s there now. There is not too many current places where we could add suites/premium seating in WB.

I get it. Those horns just really set it off. We could definitely do it.

There are people smarter than either of us who can do it. It could require rerouting the road. There would be hurdles to clear. It's being done someplace in America every day. If you don't like the idea, just say so. Don't say it can't be done because of spatial restrictions. That would marginalize your intelligence way more than mine.
