Alabama’s first year coach just went 9-3. One is not like the other.

But I thought y’all wanted a sitting head coach. Syracuse hired Fran Brown, who was the defensive backs coach at Georgia. Not even a coordinator. Y’all would’ve flipped your schitt if we had hired a position coach. Coaching hires are basically crap shoots. We hit gold with Mullen, struck out with Moorhead. Early returns on Lebby aren’t good, but we will see next year.

It's his first year as a head coach. Even though he has defensive coaching experience, he hired an actual defensive coordinator.

well, we could have hired Oklahoma's Band Director as Head Coach and beaten Eastern KY Jelly and UMess!

You could argue 5 of the 6 best coaching jobs this year were guys with no HC experience- Lashlee, Dillingham, Brown, Key, and Beamer. Cignetti being the 6th. Also the number 1 team in the country has a HC that had no experience.

Moorhead 17ed himself with it came to a certain linebacker. He was fully about to get a 3rd year until that happened. 2-0 egg bowl is better than 2-10
