Taylor Edwards Player Personnel/Recruiting Gone

On of the most important figures of South Carolina football’s recruiting operation is no longer with the program.

Taylor Edwards, the Gamecocks’ director of player personnel, is leaving coach Shane Beamer’s program, according to a report from The Big Spur on Tuesday afternoon. He’d been with the team for three seasons.

The exact reasoning for his departure is unclear.

Just saw this….some other talking heads are saying this is a big hit.

Agreed. Text messages directly to players is sloppy. Not coming through with the money though? Let that get around to recruits, and it's worse than losing a staff member.
