Pro sports fans do and say a lot of stupid things during their cheering on of people playing a game. Calling someone a fraud fan may just be the dumbest non-criminal thing. New rule: anyone even hinting at someone being a better fan of something than someone else, or someone being a lesser fan in some way, should be forced to wear, whenever they're off their own property, a diaper, a bonnet and a bib, the bib reading "I been a bad, bad boy (or girl, as the case may be)."

Right, I get that as a fan. But as a guy, I just want to play and if you’re going to pay me to do it so be it. I’m going to try my best so yank me out of the lineup if I’m not good enough, I’m just playing the game.

The Pats were really good at pushing everything to the limit and certainly crossed the line on a number of things... but making felonies out of misdemeanors, as many people on this board do, drives me nuts. The guy wins 7 Super Bowls, loses 3 others, and people want to dismiss him due to a destroyed cell phone? If the guy won 7 SBs with the Eagles/Steelers they would all be singing a different tune.

Brady was the best QB ever, hands down. Whether you like him or not, it’s tough to deny that.

So, in Baby Huey's special imaginary land, where he gets to make the rules about which ways to cheer on athletes are legitimate, and which ones are fraudulent ... which things, specifically, would make someone a "fraudulent fan"? Give me an exhaustive list. And change your diaper, for Christ's sake. Or have one of your moms do it for you.

I sure hope not. There are a group of QBs that need to walk away and let the new era of guys take over. Brady, Wilson, and Ryan need to realize it’s time. The game is in good hands with guys like Mahomes, Burrow, Hurts, Herbert, Allen, etc.

One thing that makes someone a fraudulent fan is when they change teams to be a fan of the team that’s winning. This happened a lot where I grew up…in the 70’s there were a bunch of Steeler fans all around, in the 80’s they were suddenly all Browns fans, then in the 90’s they mysteriously morphed into Bills fans. Band wagon fans are fraudulent fans. I would also say cheering for a college team that you have absolutely no ties to makes you a fraudulent fan (hello most ND fans).
