Texas Tech dropped Oklahoma last night, and the Sooners fell from #45 to #50 in the NET. This allowed us a cheap +1 as went went from 47 to 46 without doing a thing. Also of note, Oklahoma has been ahead of us on the bubble. They are probably officially outside looking in at this point, as they dropped to 4-10 in the Big 12. The Big 12 is the highest rated conference, but don't see how they can get in at this point without winning the Big 12 Tournament.

Quadrant 2 opportunity tonight at South Carolina. I think a win would equal +2 or maybe +3, depending on results below.

Other games worth keeping an eye on if we take care of business

Tulsa at SMU. Tulsa isn't having a great season, but they kept it close with SMU earlier this year. Would help if the Mustangs dropped one to a bad team.
Virginia Polytechnic and State University at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Would be extremely helpful at Georgia Tech can beat Virginia Tech. Va Tech has a similar profile as us. Same overall record, .500 in the ACC, but they are sitting at 41 in the NET.

Several Thursday games are in play. Lunardi's bubble watch is going our way. Just need to beat South Carolina.

That's been said about every home game this season since Minnesota on 12/5 and road games since the tournament in the Bahamas against Richmond and Louisville
