He was a very successful pitching coach in the mlb. Was ours for only a year as the plan was to get a big time HC gig. He really wasn't here long enough to evaluate his recruiting so that's unknown.
As far as a pitching coach, last year started off as a disaster on the mound. By the time we got to sec play he had kids who couldn't find water from a boat dialed in and throwing extremely well.

as far as i can see, sports in bama is regulated to 12 Saturdays in the fall. That's 253 days with nothing to cheer for. Rough
