Is the difference between playing USM and sitting home.

I'd say the series wins vs. Belmont and Sacred Heart helped, but LSU swept CAL ST FULLERTON and beat us twice at home. And had a better overall record.<div>
</div><div>Wow, I really can't believe they left LSU out.</div>

and i could say 'i think it's the friday win against florida'. any 1 sec win is why we are in. if we had 1 less sec loss before the lsu series and only one 1 then we would be out.<div>but i could also say that if we had wouldn't have choked against ark, bama, tourney fla, etc. then we could be a 1 seed. i'm just happy that we are here. i'm not as old as some of you but i've been a dawg all my life. i use to help my dad grill as young as probably 5 and listen to msu baseball. i've just been sick to the stomach these past two years and am just glad that we are where we are now considering where we were when cohen took over.</div>

And if you believe the RPI experts, ours was allegedly higher than Alabama's.

I think the reality is Georgia winning three in the SEC Tournament is what knocked LSU out.

I'm not convinced that it came down to either MSU or LSU. If it did, the committee made the right choice. The talking heads are saying what they are because we lost our series with them. I know that the RPI experts had LSU's RPI better than ours- I have to believe that there is probably a big discrepancy between the experts and the NCAA.

i agree with everything you posted. i'm still relatively new to this site, i roamed gene's and the cl for years. but everyone seems to come to you for baseball 'expertise'. while i don't discredit any of it, why is it that it you are the baseball guru, and if you don't mind me asking, how old are you?

and it's taken on a life of it's own. I really honestly didn't go looking for it. I just post my thoughts. Personally, I think it's pretty funny- I don't take it seriously. I actually prefer Baseball Jesus.**

One thing about baseball- there's always more to learn about it, and no one is ever going to know every little thing about it. That includes me.

Truth is, I'm probably actually better at doing what I do for a living than I am anything baseball related.

I'm 33.

i'm actually not a 'baseball' guy. my dad pushed me hard with camps and select teams but football was always my thing. i've found your posts informative and enterainting. i, along with others, apprectiate the intellectual comments that you post. i'm all wrapped up in bulldawg baseball right now but i'm ready for some damn football. i'm also ready to see how you hyena's react during this football season. this may be the sierra nevada talking but i'm actually thankful for all of you bastard's comments and rumors. keep the 17 coming. i'm sold.

So many to choose from.

At least I predicted the apocalypse of MSU baseball correctly when we hired Polk II. Not very many cult leaders can say that.

Can't wait to impress a supermodel with my baseball knowledge.

Here's my pick up line- "You look like an angel. Hey! Did you know that their infield in 1986 was Wally Joyner, Bobby Grich, Doug DeCinces, and Dick Schofield/Rick Burleson?" That oughta get her- or creep her out.

I'm going to Israel this summer. I kid you not. I'll watch myself. I'd have to anyway.

And no, I don't plan on riding any donkeys into Jerusalem on the trip.
