Gamecock Athletics has been such an embarrassment lately that I couldnt justify paying anything for any inside information. This is the only free board so I naturally ended up here. My dad used to have a subscription here and then for some reason we all moved to the big spur site. Now im back where it all began, trying to reshape my fandom from its inception. Reshaping how I view Gamecock sports and college sports in general. I think this year could be special so im lurking here more. I desperately want my dad and his twin brother and my family to celebrate one football magical season while we are all still on earth together.
I went to the Big Spur for a year out of curiosity. It was pretty good until JC left and Tony started using Chat GBT to write redundant articles. I plan to become a paying subscriber of this site again when football season gets closer. Saw no reason to pay for articles on how bad our basketball and baseball teams have become.
I joined Twitter in 2010 sitting at the Bippety Boppity Boutique in Disneyworld while my daughter got a makeover so I could get all the insider info. But with all the social media available these days, there really is no such thing as insider info anymore. It's all out there for free consumption. BTW, Twitter (X) turned into political garbage and I deleted it a couple years ago. It was disturbing my peace.
So JC recently took the BiG Spur name and the Plano Palmetto Proving Grounds Forum away from the other site, one day we wake up and its called Gamecock247 and Planos Roost.I was just shocked that there was a war i was missing out on.
For $10.00 a month, you can be considered an "Insider". I get my best info from my barber.
Careful, we have a few posters who take allegiance to the wbb program very seriously. Dismiss it at your peril.
Of course, there's also plenty of posters who dismiss wbb too. Some of them, i think, it's just to get a rise out of the forst group.
How hard can it possibly be to make it as successful WBB coach? Recruit talent, instill discipline and let them play the game.
And that's your right to do so. I'm probably not going to click on anything about women's golf.
But since we don't know you, and the school sponsors the sport for each gender, it's best not to assume, but to specify for which gender one is referring.

Just want to clarify...
I did not "take" anything. I own those and regardless of the lies being told on that end, there was no option for the site to be branded anything but what they called it at 247Sports, even if I had returned. They have their employees on that site and so I get it, but the way it was spun was crazy.
The only reason I brought the Plano's PPG name over was because I wanted to continue to honor Plano, who actually started this message board you are posting on now. They honored him, it was obviously causing some people to have hurt feelings, some lunatic called my phone- there was a narrative being pushed that made it sound like I went and stole Elvis' tombstone from Graceland, moved it to Nashville and started charging people a buck to see it!
My interest in that was that it remained. They have him honored. No need to have Gamecock fans have hurt feelings over it, so we changed the name of the TBS 3.0 board.
Anyway, glad to see you guys over here. There are many of you. Hope you join up for football season!
And as far as I am concerned, there is no war or anything else. I want folks to join as many sites and post on as many sites as you want to. I would never tell anyone to cancel anything.
I do feel like this setup offers a ton of value for Gamecock fans, who frankly have been through a lot recently with all of the losing. Plus, gas prices... man.
As for me, I am happy. It's a great vibe over here and I am glad to be reunited with the leadership at On3. It's important for me to be where my roots are planted and my roots will always be planted with the people that have helped me build a career and who have always told me the truth.
I also, if you read my posts, am in a much better mood these days! LOL
