I'm a huge Cowboys fan, but I laugh every time you guys think Dallas is capable of winning a game of importance. The one common factor that keeps them from winning is the dumbazz Jones family. Jimmy Johnson left in 1993, but I'm giving him 90% of the credit for the super bowl in 1995. A freakin' monkey could have done that. So from 1996 til 2022 (27 years), Dallas has missed the playoffs 15 years and have compiled a 5-11 post season record. 5 playoff wins in 27 years. Jerry can make money but he's a 17ing idiot when it comes to running an NFL franchise. He's the reason I've quit watching NFL.

Drebin gonna Drebin. My mistake for thinking anything different might happen.
Typical bullshlt from you. Try to put words in my mouth. When I call you out on it, you play the victim, "I was just asking for clarification" BS. You know what you were doing. Stop being a piece of shlt.

How the hell is asking for clarification "putting words in your mouth"? It's not my fault nor my problem that you don't want to clarify. Fack off, moron.

As I said, you know what you're doing. Everyone here can read the thread. I understand that you have to muddy the water because otherwise it's a bad look for you. But I'm done playing your game.

So, is your position that reffing is never bad and never affects the result of a game?
I think what he is saying is that the refs don’t care who wins.

I do think there is somewhat some evidence of home field advantage, but when you look at the stats they usually even out when it comes to bad calls.

I hollered about refs until I realized they are human and they make some mistakes.

Dallas had awful luck last night on several occasions. Stepping out at the goal was one of those things that happen, but if you listen to some people today they are saying it was STILL his fault that they lost. He threw for almost 400 yards and 3 touchdowns but it’s his fault ? I thought there were more players on the field than just Dak.

if anything, it just showed how little talent, Dallas has outside Cede Wilson for Dak to work with and help him win. They have not said anything about Pollard’s 9 yards rushing.

Agreed. And I think other posters were claiming the refs affected the game. Sure, you play a perfect game and you can overcome a lot of BS from the refs. But how well you did or didn't play is irrelevant to if the refs affected the game by blowing calls, inconsistency, or bias. They did in this one, it happens, I've seen much worse, get over it. Drebin's cynical "meh all games have missed calls" BS is its own form of naivete.

Photo stills to prove or disprove a penalty are dishonest.

I'll tell you what I don't see here....a receiver being restrained from catching the ball by early contact. He's upright, turning around, not falling down, not being impeded in any way.

There's contact on every play. Many times a flag isn't thrown if the defender didn't gain an advantage from it.

Dallas got the benefit of a number of flags in the 4th. So picking out one call that didn't go your way is silly.

Refs didn't cost Dallas the game. That's just a horrible, horrible take. Makes you sound like an Ole Miss fan.

He was a foot from scoring. So close it was called a score. If they can reverse that call, they should be able to call PI there. You don't think that impeded him? Come on now...

Arguing PI is usually a fools game. Too much subjectivity. I won't fault the refs for not calling it here, it was 50/50.

What irks though is that he hooked him with the arm, which more often than not is called. I would bet that had the TE dropped the pass or been ruled short on the field, that the ref would have thrown the flag. But with it ruled a TD, why bother? Then the TD comes back on replay.....

But really, it's more bad luck than horrible reffing. The lack of hold calls against Parsons is more troubling. Every opposing OL gets the Bama treatment when they play Dallas. But don't tell that to Drebin, he'll say Bama calls are irrelevant.

The NFL refs review their games. I don’t know if NCAA refs do. They make mistakes and the crowd is a factor sometimes, but if they make mistakes review is supposed to fix them. Unfortunately, they can’t review some plays. Those are the ones that usually get the most attention.
