I was there. Couldn’t really hear them. The PA was low and all the USM fans started chanting and drowned them out. It was meh. Still a good burn, just poor execution.

When we played them at the liberty bowl their halftime show made fun of the bass pro pyramid. I think some of them may have been dressed like Elvis. You could tell how hard they were trying to be like Stanford it was pretty lame.

About 30 years or more ago, they did a spoof about the Aggies at Kyle Field. Basically had to be escorted out by law enforcement for protection if I remember correctly. I think they were banned from performing there.

ETA correction it was in the 70’s at Rice stadium. And, empty food trucks had to be brought in for the band to get into so they could get by the angry aggie fans.

Rice has been doing the satire stuff just as long as Stanford. If anything Stanford might be trying to be like them.

Besides it’s a good way for the schools to get mom & dad and the grandparents to football games & see the elementary age kids be involved.
