A disaster!

Euro’s 4-0 in the morn.

Euro’s 2 1/2 in the afternoon

6 1/2 - 1 1/2…..20 pts to go.

Three twosomes of Americans gave up late leads in the afternoon. Rahm had three chip-ins today and several clutch putts.

Thomas played decently, Spieth sucked.

Not to bemoan the picks but DeChambeau and DJ would have had a field day at this course. Its all about the long ball. That being said Koepka should have played the morning. I would have sent JT in the morning as well. Harman was lost.

All about the long ball if only they can find the fairway. Bryson and DJ didn't exactly light up the France course because they kept hitting it in the high rough. This course was set up in a similar way.

USA looked lethargic in Match 1.... a little more energy in the afternoon in Match 2... Europe is kicking their rear ends and deservedly so Team USA almost looks asleep half the time and playing like they really don't care.

The USA’s play reminded me of PSU’s 11AM tendencies…..which hopefully won’t show up in Evanston tomorrow.

A report reveals a real sickness going through the US ranks. Sounds like its viral.

Just saw that in numerous news stories. Sounds like head colds/flu going around with players and caddies. No wonder they looked so lethargic. Credit to Zach he isn't using it as an excuse, says we still have to line up and play our best regardless of health or conditions. That is what caught my attention (granted I was working half the time at home) but they all seemed so lethargic now it makes sense.

ZJ is using it as an excuse, otherwise, why bring it up? He screwed up the pairings today and is doubling down tomorrow (putting rookies together). They've been around the European team the entire week. Amazing how nobody from the Europe team is sick.

Not only was Sam Burns the worst captain's pick, the genius captain puts him out in the first match. Not seeing Bryson or Keegan or both on this team is telling.

And USA gets off to another awful start on Day 2!

Speith and Thomas lose their first three holes. Scheffler and Koepka lose their first two holes.

Heading to bed…..this is brutal!

Wait A Second Season 1 GIF by Final Space

USA starting to rally behind Homa and Harman as well as Burns and Morikawa. Speith and Thomas currently one up.

He didn't bring it up, the reporters asked him about the health of the U.S. team. He was uncomfortable talking about it because he knew he it would be looked at like he was using it as an excuse. He didn't even say what was going on with the team health wise and wasn't comfortable talking about it. It was reporters asking since they had seen U.S. team members sniffling and coughing at all their interviews this week.
