Wow. I never realized he could, should, have been a 3 time world champion plus an Olympic champion.

Remarkable that he overcame so much. I can understand his mentality when looking back but he is the definition of a winner.

The series was really well done, but it left me wanting more. They could have covered his time at Lock Haven and Foxcatcher. The whole thing felt a bit rushed. There was so much hype around him in high school that they could have used that time for at least one full episode. Regardless, it was very interesting.

After thinking about my previous post a bit, I realized that perhaps the story was abbreviated a bit because Kolat didn’t really want to talk about it. He has always seemed like a private person and maybe this was all he was agreeable to? Either way, I enjoyed the three episodes.
