With the way things ended last year and losing two good freshmen to the portal, I was figuring on a struggle this season. Even the portal pickups seemed underwhelming.
But this was an impressive start. Memphis is probably pretty bad, but a team that can put up 64 points in a half and get 61 rebounds has got something going on.
Be nice if this Okot is an undiscovered diamond. She's definitely got size as does the team as a whole.
And they did this with Jordan, our best player, having a terrible game. 2 points. That won't happen again.

Wow, had no idea he was doing that. I'd really like to see him put together a nice season. He seems like a guy who could really build in recruiting if he had some results to lead with
This group's got some personality. I'm hopeful he's put together a nice combination of talented role players who can gel into a good team.
