And that is saying a lot! The clowns working the South Dakota State vs So. Cal game need to be fired right now and never be allowed to officiate another game at any level. It was so evident they wanted the Trojans to win that the announcers all but came out and said it. Phantom fouls called against the Jack Rabbits kept the Trojans in the game. There were 4 blocking calls down the stretch called on SDSU that were not even close to being blocks, especially the last one. One announcer asked the other what she thought of that call and she said "Well.....I'm not an official but I feel like she was there." I get it, they are judgement calls but they flat out got them wrong! They had one critical review in which So. Cal was originally awarded the ball, seconds left in the game and trailing by three. After a 10 minute review and the replay clearly showing that the call should have been reversed they gave it to So. Cal anyhow. The announcers previously took less than 30 seconds to declare that the call WOULD be reversed. WTH!! Destiny Littleton then hit a three to send the game to OT. There were two other reviews in the OT that took about 10 minutes each to resolve. These reviews are ruining the game.....especially when the officials overrule what the video evidence clearly shows. I did not have a dog in this hunt but was somewhat hoping that So. Cal would win because of Littleton. After seeing how the officials were blatantly trying to give the game to So. Cal I am very happy SDSU was able to pull it out. I hope the officials lost their *** on the outcome!! Rant over....

I dont know about this specific case but I have noticed a reluctance by the officials to overturn calls on the floor more times this year than any other. It's almost like the refs feel forced to use reviews but don't want to. That's the vibe I get anyway. Saw a men's game were there was clearly plenty of video evidence to overturn a call but they claimed there wasnt enough. It was a critical play down the stretch to determine who touched the ball last before it went OB. I couldnt believe it. What shocked me even more was the announcers just rolled with it and said no more about it... even after they predicted it would be overturned. Something ain't quite right.
And another thing, did they change the rule so that a defender can draw a charging call even if his feet are not set? Seen that quite a few times.

Problem I notice in most college basketball games I watch are the number of "anticipatory" fouls that get called.

I don't watch pro basketball.

... and another thing while I'm at it. Lol

I thought they were going to crack down on flopping and at least try to reduce the number of them.
That didnt seem to work out well
