OK. Let's start bashing the bb team. Anybody expecting much this season after the Martin departure depleted the roster of players is not being realistic. What we have is a thrown together roster who aren't going to be capable of being much of a factor in SEC play. To expect more will lead to a lot of disappointment, I fear. Knocking these kids isn't going to help much.

That doesn't always equate to success. It's no guarantee. I saw UGA play a season with the number one recruit an Atlanta kid, Anthony Edwards. He was surrounded by a better roster than we have and their season was a flop. I hope ours is different and I'm wrong but but I don't think so. By the way, being the number one recruit doesn't always result in being the best player in the history of the program. Glad we got him though.
Yep. Now maybe if he woulda just committed from the start other talent would have followed.
That's a good point, but teenagers love & are addicted to drama, so there was no chance of that.

We have an astoundingly bad basketball team. 5 years removed from being a Final Four participant. Unreal.

As bad as men's sports are at the moment I'm glad I gave up being in the Gamecock club and my season tickets.
