Top priority is hopes and prayers are with Coach Leach and his family for a full recovery.

But with that said, we have to face the fact that regardless of the outcome we are very likely looking at moving forward without Mike Leach as our head football coach. It pales in comparison to a man fighting for his life but we are in a critical time with recruiting and don't have an AD. What was a somewhat leisurely process is now a hair on fire situation.

Give Arnett and Spurrier Co-Head Coach status for the next year. Seriously. They have both been here, know the system, and can hold it down for the time being.

With all due respect and kindness towards the Leach family, I’ve thought about this as well and would be good keeping the entire staff with Arnett as head coach and an offensive coordinator of his choice, possibly Spurrier.
