Offense is ok. Keep in mind we are playing a true freshman at QB. It’s really our defense - if it had any kind of a pulse it could our offense more possessions.

The offense sucks. I don't know why.everybody puts it all on the D. The defense was dominating until we handed them a scoop and score. It all went straight to hell after that. Of course when you are 17 down suddenly the offense looks competent
We could absolutely win this game if our defense had ANY kind of ability to make a stop. I mean ANY thing.

It’s both - if the offense would play a complete game and put up 35+ points then maybe I’d put it all on the defense - but we’ve yet to have that game where the O has been awesome. It’s been fair -but that’s so far ahead of our defense that we tend to focus on that.

There seems to be a lack a basic football IQ.

If you are 4th and whatever at the 20, kick the field goal and take the points. On 3rd or 4th down, the receiver should run a route past the first down yardage before catching the ball. If your defense sucks, and your offense struggles to get first downs, don't run a hurry up offense.

I am all for giving Lebby 2 more years to straighten this crap out. But if he doesn't everyone involved should be gone; Keenum, Selmon, Lebby, the janitors, and everyone else.

There's nothing good going on here. Not one one thing. Offenses and defense is straight up trash.
We are in year 1 of a new offense with new personnel that aren't fit for it. You can at least see some potential at times. I am not worried about that side.

Our D is horrible. We don't have the players but we are also constantly out of position and just flat out getting run over. We need to make coaching changes.

This is it. Like whenever it's a 4th and short, our defense just gets pushed back. Our defensive backs are nowhere near the receivers on most passing plays. The fact that one of our safeties is the leading tackler in the SEC despite missing a game says everything about how bad the defense is.

The D is just unbelievably bad I mean any team can run whenever they want and pass whenever they want. Problem with offense is the line it’s god awful. If this defense was average the oline would be catching all manner of hell all year but this defense is impossible to overcome.

If next year is as bad as this year is (I think it will be), we have to pull the plug.

Can't put up 35 points when the offense has it for 18 minutes in the whole game and less than 5 minutes in the second half because the defense can't get off the field.

Thst is SO Mississippi State. Make a mistake hire and compound it by giving him 2 more years to bury the program for good. Or we sure Kiffin didn't plant Lebby here to drive State to Division 3 so he can get ALL the Mississippi players like Arkansas and Missouri!😁😁😁

If there is no improvement next year year I am all for firing him and everyone else, as per original post. We can't fire him this year or nobody else worth a crap will ever take the job. Starkville is not on many peoples preferred destinations.

Because Parsons is apparently the worst Chris Ralph clone ever
It's obvious this staff has zero confidence in him. Have to give him credit for sticking around and not announcing he's taking a redshirt and portaling out. He'll transfer out for sure, which is best for him and for us. But these days, it's rare to see a guy in his position finish the season out as the backup.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him and maybe Dinkins at Baylor next year.

He’s never played enough to know. I think he has talent or Leach wouldn’t have signed him away from Florida State. he’d prosper at Baylor in the offense they run.
Maybe. But he was awful when he did play. Good luck to him wherever he goes. Seems like a good guy.

He was thrown in Arnett/Barbays cluster*$&# of an “offense” , so I don’t think anybody could have performed in that. this year Lebby is going with his recruit and trying to build around MVB, Parson was never going to get to play. So I don’t think you know what you have. What Leach saw was a kid who was accurate and could mentally process, along with being a dual threat. if that’s true, I’ll bet Mason Miller is keeping An eye on him. that Baylor offense is what he was recruited for, Sawyer is lighting it up, And I’ve heard many times on here that Sawyer was no good. Hes very good.
