This has been one pathetic Cotton Bowl

You said "I'll tel what makes me believe we'll be better next year - because you (OM) practically lose everybody on your team."

So as long as OM is worse, that makes you better?

Using your year as a measure.
You made a Cotton Bowl with talent that got beat handily by us.

Our talent gets better next year with better qb play. Certainly wont get worse.
Our OL gets better as we lose nobody.
Our receivers get better after a year in the system losing only McRae
Our running game. Well lets say that gets worse but factually, if our passing game improves, so does this.
Our defense might get worse losing CHeney but doubtful.
Our coaching gets better with better talent.

YOUR talent stagnates because Snead is turning out to be less than thought and Stanley isnt an improvement. Maybe Cotton will make you better. So I could be wrong here.
Your OL finished awful, but you lose 3 from it.
You lose the best receiver possibly in the sec at least the west. Summers and Patterson will have to get better.
You lose a serious running threat that stretched the field wide. Bolden will do well to affect games 1/2 what McCluster did.
Your defense could be just as good but doubtful with the graduating tackle production.
You coaching had better improve. The cotton bowl was an exhibition in the bizzare.

What we cannot count on is if our defense is going to hold teams down like your defense did. This may be where I part company with Todd on why we'll have success next year using UM as a measuring tool.
