You must not have read it. They didn't work their *** off they danced it offWhat’s sad is that people expect a group of guys that work their *** off all week to win a game to be upset when they actually accomplish their goal. Thats what’s sad.
If you believe this group is working their *** off all week, I bet you still believe in Santa. What’s sad is that people expect a group of guys that work their *** off all week to win a game to be upset when they actually accomplish their goal. Thats what’s sad.
Sad, little man strikes again. If you believe this group is working their *** off all week, I bet you still believe in Santa.
What do you know about their work in practice all week? I'll answer for you: nothing. If you believe this group is working their *** off all week, I bet you still believe in Santa.
A glaring barometer. It’s indicative of where we are as a program
I guess celebrating the "big win" over Jax State is better than explaining away a loss to them but it's kind of sad to think about an SEC team dancing and celebrating a win over a team like that.
...makes sense.Winning is the goal and should be celebrated regardless of the opponent.
I know we all had high expections year three and I know it could be interpreted as an excuse, but we were down 4 starters that’s 18% of your team before game 1! And tell me again which position group has not been decimated by injuries throughout the year (besides qb thank God)? We are not Georgia we just can’t plug in the next 5 star, hopefully recruiting will start addressing this, but we must put an end to teams ahead of us poaching our players, bottom line, that is a head coaching issue and must be addressed!I, for one, hate to see the division in the fan base over the program. Maybe I'm in the middle. I don't know. Beamer overachieved in his first 2 seasons, IMHO. But this season has been just the opposite and is disturbing. I think people are disappointed. I know I am. The similarities to Will Muschamp are eerie. People look and see that Beamer got an extension around the same time in his era as Muschamp did. The wheels began to fall off in Year 3 of Muschamp's time here. Fans are saying/asking: "Here we go again". "Is history rhyming, if not repeating itself?" I'm glad we won. Jax State has the moral victory. We have the real victory. I'll take the later every time. Time will tell us how the rest of the season unfolds. Go Gamecocks!!!
I thought this would be a down year. I personally dot think our record would be much better if we didn't have any injuries.I know we all had high expections year three and I know it could be interpreted as an excuse, but we were down 4 starters that’s 18% of your team before game 1! We’ve playing FBS football for over a century. You’ll have to forgive me for not being elated that we were extremely fortunate to beat team in their first year of FBS who came into our stadium and kicked our butts around. What’s sad is that people expect a group of guys that work their *** off all week to win a game to be upset when they actually accomplish their goal. An SEC 3rd string should perform better against Jax than we did. Injuries are not an excuse. Many of you have totally ignored the fact that this team has been decimated by injuries. Now why this has occurred is a different subject, but it has occurred and they have to fight and struggle in every game. Having 9 different offensive line adjustments is ridiculous, but it is where we are. I don't blame them for celebrating. If it brings the team together and they get better. Then so be it. Let's beat Vandy, UK, Klemsux, and the Bowl game. Afterwards we can then do a postmodern to see what changes need to be made. I'm not giving up on the team...
Let me just say that my expectation for the year was 7-5, not real high...... mediocre actually. In fact, I was gently criticized by King Ward, a really good guy whom I like and greatly respect, for having too low of expectations.I know we all had high expections year three and I know it could be interpreted as an excuse, but we were down 4 starters that’s 18% of your team before game 1! That's where I was as well! Too many coin flip games that I soon realized percentages were going the opposite way!Let me just say that my expectation for the year was 7-5, not real high...... mediocre actually. As I said before, Beamer has a lot of hard work ahead of him. I hope he is up to the task.
I would not pencil in Vandy just yetFour wins against Furman, Miss St.(2 favorable calls), Jax St. ,and Vandy. Very impressive.

Yeah. Again, it’s just a reality check on the state of a program.Wow those guys deserved to celebrate after 4 straight losses. I don`t understand your mindset frankly.
I mean, we were pretty fortunate to beat GA St last year too. At least we didn’t need 2 blocked punts this time.Yeah. Again, it’s just a reality check on the state of a program.
