And committed an error, hit into a couple of DPs and failed to score from 3rd with no outs. Had this been an SEC opponent the outcome would have been predictable
I still say we win the series in Red Stick.

It will be interesting to see what actual attendance is next weekend if we lose the LSU series. Empty seats will get a coach fired faster than losing sometimes.

Personally think LSU is overrated a tad.... short week too with us playing on a Thursday.
There's probably some truth to LSU being overrated. I'll be pleasantly surprised if we take one. I don't think this team has the cojones to go into Red Stick and take 2/3 from LSU.
far from prediciting a series win... just dont think we are walking into an impossible situatuon as the rankings might show.
I feel that. I'd love for the Dawgs to go down there and take 2 of 3 or even all 3. That would be the kind of series win that could propel this team into a nice run.

We'll see. Coming back 2-7 or 1-8.. would be a tough hole to climb out of. 3-6 with some momentum you can at least see the light at the end of the tunnell.
Most of the posters on this board are only really happy when we lose......judging by how they post anyway.
I don't really think that's true at all. People are just mad that we're not winning nearly often enough.
But they LOVE talking about us losing, not so much winning....hence no thread last night.
Actually we committed 2 errors but whose counting? And we still aren't scoring enough to beat SEC opponents. In 6 SEC games so far we've only scored more than 3 runs in 2 of them. And the one SEC game we won we only scored 2 runs which is pretty amazing.
There was actually no thread before anyone knew whether we were going to win or lose. Of course, at this point, if we don't start winning some SEC games, the midweek games are meaningless which I think was the main reason for apathy. We probably need to get to 14 SEC wins to feel good about getting into post-season. Means we need to be 13-11 the rest of the way at worst.
I doubt many will watch this weekend's bloodbath either.
We pay a lot of money for a 36-60 SEC record over the last 4 years.
When we can't win a SEC game nobody cares if we win midweek games. Nobody is impressed when you beat up the handicapped kid
