This playoff at the St Jude has been wild.

I don't know why it took Zalatoris so long to decide to take the drop. He was dead with that lie.

Only thing I can possibly come up with is that he was thinking if he somehow, some way put it anywhere on the green, he’d have 2 putts to win. Just wasn’t worth the risk of possibly popping it backwards into the water, though, and good sense prevailed

Big weekend for the st Jude classic. Everyone remembers when that tournament was a dud before making it a playoff. I was there Thursday-Saturday and all the talk was how the leaderboard was lacking. Great finish and happy will finally got his win

It became more exciting when they made it a WGC event but for sure now it’s even better as the first leg of the playoffs. They’ve also stepped up their game on making that course more challenging. I remember back in the 90s guys winning with a -36 score.

Why was there not an option to place it where it crossed the hazard line? Did it not hit above the yellow line then go back? Is that holes only option when it goes in the hazard to play from the drop zone?

There was a ton of riff raff on the course. Memphis needs to clean it up.

It sucked before because it was always the weekend before the British Open and nobody played.
