If you mean top 25 you are correct. I wouldn't call Oklahoma a nobody though. They are the only team we've lost sets to.

It wasn't that long ago we couldn't take any sets from the weak team also. Great to see the girls doing well.

Ball State was a tournament team last season and also in '19.
They have played 2 Top 35 RPI teams from last season already, beat another two Top 100 RPI teams, and play a top 60 RPI team tonight in Houston.

Its not world beating, but it also hasnt been just all Mississippi Valley level opponents(they were last in RPI and Alcorn was second to last).

Looking at the schedule, I think it's a pretty good OOC schedule. Like you say, you don't have to play a bunch of top 20 teams to have a good schedule. Play a lot of top 100 teams and no 300+ ones. BTW, I checked Ball St. They're 6-1 and only lost 5 sets other than their 3-0 loss to Mississippi State.

ETA I'm being a smartass. Tough loss. Houston is obviously a solid team. That's their 3rd win over SEC teams. 7-1 record.

I think State will have a nice season and make another NCAAT.
