Of all things Penn State, there is nothing better than THON. It’s the largest student run philanthropy in the world. Please help find the cure for pediatric cancer. If you haven’t yet made your donation, it’s not too late to do so now. It’s for the kids. We are Penn State!

If you’ve never been, you should try to attend just to witness it. It’s definitely something special.

My daughter danced in 2018 and I wrote about my experience from the stands.

My son and his girlfriend were selected to dance this year as an Independent Couple (not affiliated with any Greek or other Social organization on campus.) They raised over $7k in order to get in. They are so excited.
My freshman daughter is working the event. It blows my mind how much planning goes into this event, and I'm sure i only know a tiny bit. She started meetings once a week 2 hours a night not long after enrolling in August.

If you hadn't thought about it, you should definitely plan to attend. It's quite a sight.

Whenever I’ve seen this on a resume I’ve reviewed, I always move it to the top of the pile. The effort these students put in amazes me. It’s like a big corporation. Parents (and alumni) should be very proud.

I’ll be there. I actually have a “guys weekend” there that weekend. Hockey game Saturday night against Minny. Wrestling Sunday against Clarion. I’ll make time to see my son and his GF.
