The showing by the fans and coaches in Iowa City in 2021 was clearly not up to standard, but let’s not allow the obvious deficits of our opponents dictate our ethics and sportsmanship.
Agree to disagree In this instance.Sorry, you reap what you sow.

Just to be clear: Ferentz and his staff deserve every boo and jeer they receive this weekend. But I’ll be damned if I’m going to stoop to the level of booing injured players (& I hope you — and most Penn Staters — feel the same).

Remember when that old Coach had his leg broken on the sideline collision back in 2006?Lowering yourself to the lowest standard isn't classy, and I remember an old Italian coach who wouldn't have tolerated it.
We shouldn't either.
Yeah. Years later the Wisconsin player admitted to doing it on purpose.Remember when that old Coach had his leg broken on the sideline collision back in 2006?

My feelings exactly. Well said. For me the irony is that I always admired Ferentz. His smelling a rat statement and the fact that he tolerated an assistant to roll around on the sidelines put him in the scumbag hall of fame. I agree that PSU Fans should take the high road should there be an Iowa injury. I hope KF gets what's coming to him in the final score.
If you wave all is forgiven.Booing injured players means zero on the whole. F*ck em.

I totally smell a rat.
Wait a sec . . . Never mind. The dog farted.
If you zoom out far enough, everything means zero. Doesn't mean anything is acceptable.
I also won't take out on some kid my disdain for certain fans or coaches of their school who made fools of their classless selves. No more than I would expect other fanbases to hold against me things done by a certain former coach at Penn State.
And hand these to them as well.Maybe those sitting behind the Iowa bench can print some betting slips at home and share them with the players on the sideline.
I would rather Franklin run up the score, love to see a 40 yard TD pass with under a minute left already up 40+
I also posted this on the other boardJust to be clear: Ferentz and his staff deserve every boo and jeer they receive this weekend. But I’ll be damned if I’m going to stoop to the level of booing injured players (& I hope you — and most Penn Staters — feel the same).
I was there too… the rain and our crapping of the bed are both bitter memories. We were lucky enough to get hold of some unused trash bags from the nearest refreshment stand to fashion them into parkas… boy did we need them.I was at the ‘09 iowa white out game. It rained, and we crapped the bed.Anyway, walking to the stadium, some PSU students yelled a bunch of sh|t at some iowa athletic supporters. Many Penn Staters in the area yelled at the students to knock it off. Some of them also apologized to the iowa athletic supporters on behalf of the stupid students.
I also admired Coach Ferentz, so did Joe.For me the irony is that I always admired Ferentz. Iowa is the worst state in the union.
Well, according to Iowa fans, they weren’t booing the players, they were booing Franklin, so there you go. Turnabout is fair play.Just to be clear: Ferentz and his staff deserve every boo and jeer they receive this weekend.
