Penn State administrators fell all over themselves applauding the hiring of Sandy, pointing to all the boxes her appointment filled on their hiring chart preferences. I can’t do the same for an outstanding man?

I wonder what Neeli and Kraft could do regarding the football program and its history to drive the brand.

So what. Nice story. There's no shortage of great stories about Joe Paterno. We know them, we've experienced them, we know of plenty more than what he will ever know. Instead of telling stories, do something that matters when it comes to Joe Paterno, and by extension PSU.

I've seen this play out before. Telling stories in a safe setting doesn't impress me in the least. Do you really think he will go beyond that? Ever? He knew what he was doing by trying to tell that story. He can keep his fake sincerity.

Who cares whether he is a Paterno worshiper or not. I do think he he respects the history of the football program and by that would be a supporter of Paterno. I just want him to demand results from Franklin and hold him more accountable. Barbour did no none of that and bought all his B. S.

If they can praise the hiring of the former AD, the next University Presidentand an incoming Supreme Court Justice because their primary attribute for consideration was their sex, then I can praise the employment of an exceedingly well qualified man. If you find something wrong with that you are the one with puzzling issues. Your moral posturing is stupid.

I heard Sandy say nice things in a safe setting, and the exact opposite in a national setting. It's the Penn State way, so why would anyone treat his story as anything differently. You guys talk about statues and other stuff, but the next step is a simple 'we need to address this issue.' It's simple, benign, and long overdue, and yet actually shows progress. Until then, he's just spouting the company line.

It's been addressed to the extent PSU is going to do so. Expecting more is only going to add to your personal misery.
