February is not do or die time for a national seed, I promise you. There is nothing we’ve done to this point that can’t be made up for with good wins elsewhere. We will have plenty of opportunities.

Also, the world is not going to end if this team is not a national seed. Being a national seed isn’t the goal once you really get down to it, nobody cares if you were in the Top 8 if you don’t take care of business in the postseason. Only about 50% of the Top 8 even makes it to Omaha every year. Seeding kinda goes out the window once you get to June, it’s all about who is playing the best at the right time.

Sort of, but I’d like our chances at home a little better and I think we all enjoy the opportunity to see it in person if possible. I wasn’t able to make the trip to Omaha but I was able to catch multiple regional and super regional games at the Dude. For a lot of us, hosting is our chance to see postseason ball in person.
